After giving the D-Backs their first series lose since being swept in a two game series to start the year against the Reds, the Mets look to win their second straight series against the red hot Dodgers. After losing their 1st game in 9 days the Dodgers look to win this series at Dodger Stadium.

Game Times:

Game 1- 10:10 ET

Game 2- 10:10 ET

Game 3- 3:10 ET

PItching Matchups:

Game 1- The Mets send to the mound young lefty, Oliver Perez. After getting roughed up in his last outing Perez looks to rebound against the red hot Dodgers. He's going to face off against not-so-sot Chad Billingsly. Chad is 1-4 with a 5.20 era. The Mets get lucky there after facing the hardest pitchers in the D-Backs lineup.

Game 2- Nelson Figueroa squares off against Hiroki Kuroda. Figueroa, whose spot in the lineup was skipped because of a rainout threw 3 1/3 inning of relief allowing only one run after Perez was roughed up in his outing against the Pirates. Los Angeles will send to the mound  Hiroki Kuroda. Kuroda is 1-2 with a 3.82 era. He had a good start against the Marlins a couple days ago, he allowed three runs, five hits, no walks, four strikeouts, and was rewarded with a no decision.

Game 3- In the final game  of this series it'll be John Maine up against hard throwing righty Brad Penny. Maine is coming of his first road win. He threw six innings allowing only two runs, but he got out of two bases loaded jams. He wasn't as sharp as normal, but passable, we look for a better outing today against Penny. Penny, who is 5-2 with a 3.19 era, also came of a rough outing, but he too got the win. He tossed five innnings allowing three runs. The run total's not high but the amount of innings pitched is not good.

Injuries:

The Mets got Moises Alou and Brian Schnieder back this weekend and Martinez started throwing. Good new for the Mets.
